Here at NOMOS Marketing, we think self reflection is important. We also love acknowledging our team when it goes above and beyond for our clients. That is why we have taken time to review some of our favorite law firm websites that we have built and launched in the last year.
What do these websites have in common? For starters, they all seek to serve our clients’ clients through great content, engaging design and resources. Perhaps more importantly, each website captures the personality of the firms they were built for, making their lawyers appear more accessible, more approachable and ultimately more human.

This website incorporates every best practice for law firm websites while still standing out with a distinctive design.
JLongtin Law is a Denver criminal defense law firm focused on serving defendants and families struggling with mental illness. The design neatly organizes content into boxes, uses a calming color palette and provides visitors with multiple opportunities to reach out to the firm for help. The content also stands out.
There are FAQ sections on every page, information about flat fee pricing and videos throughout the site that empower prospects to take full control over their situation. We also love that there is a page dedicated to mental health resources.
While the site is conversion focused, it is also service focused. In the legal space, we think that is really special.

Georgia parole attorney Abbi S. Taylor earned the nickname “Parole Goddess” after decades of helping incarcerated individuals get out of jail and return to their families. Her new website is a reflection of her commitment to helping individuals and families navigate the parole process. With custom photography, modern branding and strong messaging, this website is as fierce as the law firm’s tagline “Fighting For Your Freedom.” The website is also full of case results and testimonials from happy former clients. Prospective clients really get to know Abbi and learn about her experience, helping them feel comfortable when inquiring about representation.

Hrutkay Law’s website is small but mighty, just like the law firm itself. Attorney Matt Hrutkay left biglaw to hang his own shingle and develop a truly unique practice as an outsourced general counsel for small businesses in San Diego. His decision to go out on his own was inspired by his love of biking, which is evident from the moment you land on his website. Everything from the gear icons, video backgrounds, photography and content reflects his passion for the open road and entrepreneurship. His tagline “Shift Your Thinking” challenges clients to shift their perception of the law, their lawyer and how they incorporate legal decision making into day-to-day operations. Matt isn’t a stranger to a suit and tie, but more often than not his sleeves are rolled up, tattoos and all.

Rudisill, White & Kaplan is a Charlotte insurance defense firm that gets most of its clients from referrals and participation on preferred vender lists. Still, their website is an important part of their marketing. Rather than filling each page with sales copy and multiple calls to action, the firm chooses to use its website as a resource for its past and current clients, keeping them engaged even after representation is over.
Take for instance the various state pages for North Carolina and South Carolina - the firm’s target markets. On these pages, you will find calculators and links to resources that their clients can use to do his or her job better. While the website relies on stock images, the firm appropriately curated images that reflect their ideal client in a business casual office environment.
Overall, this is a deceptively simple law firm website that focuses on serving clients and maintaining relationships with professionals that fuel their sales pipeline.

How do you make sure your law firm website stands out from the crowd? Take a look at the website for Deerfield Beach business law firm Pomeranz Law.
This website uses a distinctive, white border layout that neatly presents information about the firm’s services to visitors. However, the most unique feature of this website is its use of illustrations. Ditching the tired “suit and tie” look for a more whimsical - but modern - aesthetic, Pomeranz Law customized SaaS illustrations to create representative images for each of its service pages and calls to action.
Complete with an Acuity scheduling integration, this site turns heads and captures the attention of a younger generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. Oh, and did we mention there is a dedicated landing page for the law firm’s cryptocurrency practice, House of Coins?
